Acquisition of additional substantial shareholding in Top Deck Tours Limited by Flight Centre Travel Group

Topdeck specialises in overland trips for "18 to 30 something's" and offers a broad range of journeys across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, North America, Northern Africa and the Middle East. During 2013, the business generated revenue in excess of £43million and EBITDA of approximately £4million. In August 2014, Flight Centre Travel Group increased its shareholding in Topdeck Tours to 90%. The deal values Topdeck at a minimum of £21.8million, with an additional payment of up to £4.2million, contingent on results during the year to October 31, 2014.
