Acquisition of John Charcol and Towergate Financial Planning

BDO recently provided financial/tax due diligence on Palatine’s £14m acquisition of the mortgage broking business, John Charcol, and the financial planning business, Towergate Financial Planning, from the Towergate Group. Towergate Financial Planning will announce a new brand in the coming weeks and John Charcol will continue to trade under the brand it has built over the past 40 years.
