North-West based Alloy Bodies has been sold to The Anderson Group in a deal structured by accountancy and business advisory firm BDO. Alloy Bodies, established in 1969, is one of the UK’s largest commercial Body builders producing more than 2,000 units a year. The Anderson Group is a group of companies including transport, logistics and property Businesses. This was the first acquisition brought to the group by newly appointed Chief Executive, Tim Ward, who will now work to find other potential acquisition targets. The acquisition will take combined revenues to £255m and the number of people employed to 660.
