Sale of Macrae & Dick to Park’s of Hamilton

BDO acted as the sell-side advisers on the sale of Macrae & Dick Limited to Park’s of Hamilton Limited (“Park’s”).        

Macrae & Dick, which has been trading for nearly 140 years owns 12 motor dealerships in Inverness, Aberdeen, Perth, Stirling and Elgin. The complementary mix of premium and volume marques generate turnover over £200m.              

There is a strong geographical and cultural fit with the Park’s business. With turnover of approximately £450m, Park’s is one of Scotland's largest motor groups, operating a diverse portfolio of luxury, niche and volume franchises from various locations throughout Scotland, in addition to being a luxury coach operator.
