Summer Cycling at Goodwood

Our “Summer Cycling at Goodwood” event on 22nd June was billed as the showpiece cycling event of the 2023 BDOVELO season; and it didn’t disappoint.

So, what makes a great cycling cocktail? Take one wonderful historic motor circuit, add a glorious and iconic hill climb, passing the famous Goodwood house, mix with quiet country lanes (if a little gravelly in places), spice up with a stop at an award winning vineyard and a glass of cold fizz, and garnish with a bit of lactic burn on the aforementioned motor circuit. Oh and don't forget 60 enthusiastic cyclists and the hum of network chatter in glorious sunshine. That's it, the BDOVELO Goodwood ride out successfully navigated all the aforementioned elements and riders returned safely. Many thanks to Tim Bulley and his team at Goodwood, and to all those cyclists who joined us and made it a day to remember.
