BDO promotes 33 new partners across the firm

Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP has announced the promotion of 33 new partners across its tax, audit, advisory and operational teams. The firm promoted 26 new partners in November 2021.

Effective from the 1 November 2022, the promotions follow the appointment of 26 new external partners since January. This takes BDO’s partnership to a total of 428, the largest it has ever been.

The promotions include eight people in BDO’s audit practice: Neil Ebdon, Ed Green-Wilkinson, Elizabeth Hooper, Lucie Kingdom, Joe Lucey, Owen Pettifor, Paula Willock.

Sarah Beever, Sam Boundy, Matthew Glover, Richard Hogg, Claire Hudson, Aditi Hyett, Kamal Kataria, Martyne Pearson, Karen Riley and Nathan Thomas are promoted in BDO’s tax team.

Within BDO’s advisory team, Gerald Bates, Daniel Bower, Stacey Brown, Gordon Carstairs, David Dicker, Martin Dunn, Simon Hall, Sannan Khan, Alex Mackay, Vinod Patel, Santiago Restrepo, Tom Robinson, Neville Side, Rachel Turner have all been promoted.

BDO has also made promotions within its operations teams: Paul Crean has been promoted to partner in the firm’s quality and risk management (QRM) team and Jessica Gowar will be promoted to partner with a focus on markets and clients.

As a group, the new partners have significant experience across a wide range of sectors, including consumer markets, education, financial services and real estate and construction. The promotions included 13 in the regions outside of London.
