BDO further invests in audit quality with two new partner hires
Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP continues its investment in audit quality with the appointment of two new partners in its regional offices.
Jo Jones and Chris Cole join BDO’s audit stream with almost 40 years’ experience between them.
Jo joins the Southampton office, with a special focus on audit quality, culture and people development. Her audit experience spans a wide range of industries, including retail, leisure and tourism, technology, and pharma. She specialises in multinational groups, particularly those that are US and UK listed, PE-backed businesses and privately-owned companies.
Chris joins the Nottingham office with a particular expertise in auditing US-listed businesses under the United States Public Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards, including auditing SOX controls.
Jo joins from PwC, with Chris joining from KPMG.
Paul Eagland, Managing Partner at BDO, says:
“Jo and Chris’s appointments are a key part of our ongoing strategic investment into audit quality. Having the right people in place in our regional hubs to support audited entities through the complex areas of audit and assurance is vital.”
