BDO appoints three new partners across its audit and advisory teams
Stefan Beyers joins BDO’s financial services team as an audit partner. Stefan has extensive experience in audit and advisory engagements for banking and capital markets clients .
More recently, Stefan has spent time advising corporate and investment banks around the credit impairment impact of COVID-19 and LIBOR transition. His focus on banking clients will continue in his role at BDO. He joins from PwC South Africa.
Cherry Cromarty joins BDO as a partner in the risk advisory services (RAS) team. With almost 20 years’ experience advising businesses across a wide range of industries, Cherry will use her breadth of knowledge to help grow BDO’s internal audit and risk services offering, with a focus on the retail and consumer sectors. She joins from PwC.
Tom Holt is joining as a partner in BDO’s M&A team and will lead the strategy and diligence offering in the retail and consumer sectors . As a specialist in these markets, Tom has worked with clients across a range of sectors including retail, leisure, beauty, direct to consumer, hospitality and travel. Tom also has significant experience working closely with private equity funds and their portfolio businesses.
Previous roles include a position as CEO of Pragma Consulting and leading the strategic consulting arm of Kin + Carta Plc. All three partners will be based in and around London.”
