As a Transaction Services Partner, I deliver clear, knowledgeable, and focused advice to ambitious, driven, and exciting clients. My goal is to ensure you are well-informed and get the most from your transaction, whether it's sell-side or buy-side.

With over 21 years of experience working with growth-focused businesses in the private equity and corporate communities. I have a deep understanding of various sectors both in the UK and internationally but have a focus on Technology Media & Telecoms (TMT) and what I would consider a deep specialism in media and marketing services. Having worked on over 150 completed transactions, I offer guidance on the risks and opportunities specific to your deal. My advice is aimed at being clear and actionable, with the goal of achieving the best possible outcome and generating future value.

One notable example of my work is with S4 Capital, the international digital media business formed by Sir Martin Sorrell in 2018. I led BDO's financial and tax due diligence on all 31 mergers completed by S4 over the six years it has been in operation, starting with their first acquisition of Media Monks. Our role as primary financial advisor has involved advising on each merger, using our global sector experts to support the group with accounting and operational improvements. This has included services such as financial and tax acquisition due diligence, SPA advisory, cyber and IT due diligence, and global outsourcing of accounting and compliance services. Our due diligence for S4 was tailored to focus on commercial value drivers, leveraging our detailed knowledge of the sector to impact the purchase price of target businesses.

What I enjoy most about my role is the empowerment to work 'with' the client, not just 'for' the client. I see myself as a stakeholder and trusted adviser in each transaction, taking great pride in delivering positive results. I am not afraid to discuss difficult matters as they arise, ensuring live and clear communication while offering informed opinions and guidance throughout the process.

Outside of work, I am a keen traveller and enjoy following the Irish rugby team around various matches. When not on the road, you can often find me barbequing during the summer or finding an interesting new restaurant, then doing some form of exercise or on the golf course to help burn off the calories.
