I am a Partner within Public Sector Internal Audit Team at BDO. CIPFA qualified leading Internal Audit and Advisory Services to healthcare, local government, central government, non-departmental public bodies and the sports sector.

I have always been interested in how decisions are made. They don’t always turn out right but supporting organisations on how decisions are learned from and acted upon is my aim.

My team provide a broad range of internal audit and advisory services including:

• Fully outsourced or co-sourced Internal Audit Services
• Governance and Board effectiveness assessments
• Training to senior management and Boards on risk management, governance and embedding an effective leadership culture
• Particular specialisms in contract management, procurement, risk management and company structures within the public sector.

Put simply, any area on governance, risk and control particularly for the healthcare and local government sectors, is my expertise.
