Iain Nettleton

Iain is a Partner at BDO and leads the International Projects Group. He is responsible for designing and delivering large and complex projects on behalf of clients in emerging markets and transitional economies (DFID, World Bank, FCO and EU). Iain’s technical background covers financial management, economic growth advisory and aid oversight. He is a chartered accountant (CIPFA), holds an MSc in International Development and a MBA. Iain has extensive experience working in Africa, Central Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

Before joining BDO, Iain worked for five years as a public sector auditor and finance expert. He was responsible for a wide range of external audit and financial advisory assignment in the UK across the public and private sector.
