Jill Halford

I am an audit partner and head of BDO’s Not for Profit team nationally, with over 20 years of experience in working in the charities sector on multi-location and complex engagements. I have extensive knowledge of reporting under UK GAAP and Charities SORP and work with many charitable organisations delivering high quality, robust external audits.

As an established tutor, I have experience of tutoring technical material to junior staff, trustees and senior management teams. I am also an experienced career coach, interviewer and trustee. I have been involved in setting up a small environmental charity and sit on the Board. I am a member of the audit committee at The School of Social Entrepreneurs and also an independent member of the audit committee of Wellbeing of Women.

I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my young daughter, attending live music concerts and festivals, and relax by doing reformer Pilates.
