Joe Aswani

As a business assurance partner in the London office, Joe leads BDO’s service offering to international groups seeking to centralise their global statutory compliance. Joe has in excess of ten years of experience working with groups headquartered in the US, across a number of sectors including specialist manufacturing, technology and media and consumer businesses which operate global shared service centre models. Joe has spent time working in the firm’s professional technical department on various assignments.

Joe’s client base is such that he has accumulated a wealth of internationally focussed experience, particularly in US GAAP and IFRS. Joe regularly travels to the US and Asia for client assignments, and as such has built strong international relationships across BDO’s global network.

Joe manages global relationships and leverages these across the BDO network to ensure service teams design and deliver a focused and tailored audit approach that fits each client’s needs.
