John Strowger

I specialise in creating commercial and pragmatic solutions for organisations, lenders and other key stakeholders in order to protect, or realise value in stressed and distressed situations.

My skills include strategic options and business reviews, contingency planning and delivering formal insolvency assignments.

I help clients facing uncertain and challenging situations to identify and prioritise key issues and to understand wider stakeholders’ options and incentives; I enjoy working with them to tailor the optimal strategy.

I have supported a diverse range of clients (private and listed businesses, financial institutions, industry regulators and government departments), across various sectors including manpower, recruitment, technology and construction.  I have a particular focus on the energy sector, sitting within BDO’s Natural Resources and Energy sector team.

I am a regular contributor at the London Business School, presenting to MBA students on the use of restructuring and insolvency techniques in business turnarounds.
