I work with a variety of audited entities including a number of architects, recruiters and consultants. My portfolio includes both domestic and global entities, both privately owned entrepreneurial and private equity backed businesses. Alongside my own signing portfolio, I support on some of the sectors more complex listed and high-profile LLP audits. The variety in my portfolio provides exposure to a range of issues and complex accounting transactions under both IFRS and UK GAAP and working closely with finance teams and audit committees to reach the right outcome is very rewarding. I believe building strong business relationships and having a wide-reaching internal network, both within the UK firm and our overseas offices is important.

As part of leading on embedding our people proposition with in the Professional Services team, I take responsibility for our recruitment and resourcing and support firm wide initiatives relating to resource planning and use of offshore teams. I consider having a motivated and confident team a key driver to delivering quality audits.

Having enjoyed a two year honeymoon as a career break during the early days of my BDO career, travelling remains my passion and I am always looking forward to the next adventure - although somewhat limited by the need to find a dog sitter for my two French bulldogs. With a free weekend in London, you can usually find me at an immersive theatre show or exploring an art gallery.
