Nathan Thomas

I am a partner in the corporate tax team with a focus on businesses in the financial services sector and those backed by private equity. My approach is to work closely with clients to gain an understanding of their business and personal plans in order to support them in proactively managing their tax position.

I also lead on transactional tax across the South West with a great deal of experience on diligence and tax structuring, including supporting management teams on exit, demergers and group reconstructions. 

I joined BDO in 2008, training and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor before spending time working in the Bristol, London, and Reading tax teams building a wide range of experience. My clients appreciate the breadth of knowledge I bring from this background and my ability to clearly articulate tax issues and relate these to their specific situation.
