Rosie Barnes

I am a Partner in the Forensic Accounting team at BDO focussing on general commercial disputes with a particular specialism in M&A disputes. I undertake a variety of forensic work including, expert witness, expert determinations, and international arbitration. I have significant experience of post transaction disputes including, breach of warranty claims, completion accounts and earn-out disputes, and advising on W&I insurance claims.

I have a wide range of experience as an Expert Witness and have given oral testimony in Court. The cases I work on can involve many different issues from valuation of losses through to the interpretation of specific accounting warranties in Share Purchase Agreements.

I work with a broad spectrum of clients, from small owner managed businesses to large conglomerates many of which operate over different jurisdictions. I often work with our member firms in different countries, and I regularly deal with legal teams and industry experts.
