Sam Lifford

I am an Audit Partner and lead our Not for Profit Team in the Midlands which I am passionate about developing and growing. I have 18 years experience of providing external audit services across a range of sectors, but in the last 12 years I have predominantly focused on the Not for Profit sector and am an accredited BDO specialist in delivering external audit services in the Education, Housing and Charities sub-sectors.

In addition, I have extensive experience of providing grant certifications (assurance services) to Universities and corporates across a range of grant funding bodies including Innovate UK, H2020 and Horizon Europe.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family including two young children, watching live music and going to the football with my Dad. I am also an Independent Governor at a local Sixth Form College, a role I really enjoy.
