As the leader of our Financial Sponsor Coverage team, I specialise in developing, institutionalising, and maintaining long-term commercial relationships with private equity firms and other financial sponsors across the UK, Europe, and the US. My role involves forging robust professional connections with financial sponsors, gaining a deep understanding of their investment criteria, and addressing the unique challenges and aspirations of their portfolio companies.

My extensive experience covers a broad spectrum of deals across various geographies and sectors, allowing me to cultivate a thorough knowledge of the M&A market landscape. This expertise enables me to generate a continuous stream of tailored proprietary investment ideas and insights, assisting my clients with effective deal sourcing and origination. I take pride in delivering exceptional client service by orchestrating multi-disciplinary teams of BDO specialists who possess deep sector-specific expertise, ensuring seamless and top-tier service throughout all stages of the investment lifecycle.

I began my career at BDO, qualifying as an accountant, and have been with the firm for over 20 years. During this time, I have worked within our advisory streams in both the UK and the US, leading numerous client engagements and business development programmes. In addition to my role in leading Financial Sponsor Coverage, I serve on our Private Equity Leadership Team, Scale-Up Committee, and lead our Private Equity ESG Committee, where I actively promote diversity and inclusion within the industry.
