Stuart Collins

Stuart has the role of Finance Partner for BDO LLP. The Finance Partner is the chief financial officer of the firm and has primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all finance related activities including the development of financial and operational strategies. The role includes direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, risk management, deal analysis and supporting negotiations and internal/external stakeholder relations.

Prior to his finance role, Stuart spent many years as an audit partner, specialising in providing assurance and advisory services to growing enterprises. He became a partner in BDO following the merger between PKF (UK) LLP and BDO LLP in March 2013. He led our Consumer Markets sector group which more than doubled in size to almost 200 individuals during this period. Stuart’s client work has been focussed in the hotel and leisure sector and also worked with many businesses in the general property and real estate sector. In addition he has significant experience in acting for professional service firms.
