In August 2023, Capital & Regional, a UK focused REIT with a portfolio of community shopping centres, announced details of the proposed acquisition of The Gyle Shopping Centre, Edinburgh. This acquisition completed on 6 September 2023 and was part-funded by a fully underwritten open offer raising gross proceeds of approximately £25 million.
BDO acted as reporting accountant in respect of the prospectus issued for the open offer.
