NEDs play a vital role in the governance and success of businesses and other organisations. However, regulatory requirements and the pace of change make the role challenging. Media interest in executive pay, shareholder activism and governance issues now focus greater attention on this role.
At BDO, we provide resources, updates on key issues and reports relating to those in Non-Executive Director roles. Our hub focuses on the NED journey, the role of non-executive boards and audit committees, corporate strategy, corporate governance and technical and regulatory updates.
We aim to make our non-executive director network a valuable source of information and guidance for NEDs, which covers:
In 2024, we are also sponsoring the annual Non-Executive Director, plc and AIM awards which recognise the achievements of Non-Executive Directors of both corporate businesses and the not-for-profit community.
