BDO makes two new partner appointments

Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP has bolstered its partner offering with a further two new partner appointments.

Jamie Smith joins BDO as partner in the financial services audit team and will lead the financial services audit practice in Bristol. Jamie joins from PwC and brings almost 20 years’ experience of providing audit and associated assurance services to businesses across the financial services sector.

Omar Ali joins the firm as a partner in the audit team. He has significant experience of leading national and international teams to deliver on large audits within the technology sector. Omar joins from KPMG and will be based in BDO’s London office.
