Terry Jones

Terry joined BDO in 2004 and moved to the Leeds office in 2005 where he is the lead partner for Yorkshire and Head of Tax for Leeds.

He specialises in dealing with the full range of tax issues for family and entrepreneurial businesses. Terry has significant experience on the accounting of tax, managing group tax profiles for both private and quoted companies and the preparation of world-wide group tax plans to assist in strategic business planning and monitoring of earnings.

Terry has over 30 years’ experience working with growing businesses in all areas of tax planning, from corporate issues, arising on both organic and acquisitive growth to employee benefit and shareholder exit planning. He also has extensive experience managing key corporate tax issues including acquisitions, disposals, property transactions, intangibles and capital allowances.

His approach is proactive, commercial and pragmatic and he is committed to meeting his clients' needs.
