The BDO Birmingham Transaction Services team recently provided cross-border Financial, Tax and Operational due diligence services to Stelmet sp. z o.o. sp.j. (“Stelmet”) in connection with their acquisition of Grange Fencing Limited (“Grange”). Lead advisor on the transaction was BDO Poland. Grange, operating from multiple sites across Shropshire and Humberside, is a leading manufacturer and distributor of timber and related products (primarily fences, gates and garden structures) supplying to DIY chains, builders merchants, buying groups and garden centres. Headquartered in Zielona Góra, west Poland, Stelmet is similarly engaged in the production of garden and timber products, with the transaction significantly expanding the European footprint and manufacturing capabilities of the group.
